Why we choose to feed Life's Abundance

As our slogan implies, one of the most important factors of our puppies is health. This is why we only feed Life’s Abundance dog food. We chose Life’s Abundance (LA) for our furry loved ones after extensive research and trying other foods. Some things to know about LA:

In the 20 years they have been in business they have NEVER had a recall on their food because they thoroughly test every batch before it is shipped. This is important because every year, there are numerous recalls on other brands of dog foods that have caused dogs to become gravely ill and even die. This is not acceptable to us as a breeder and as a dog lover.

LA food is developed by a holistic veterinarian using premium ingredients. It does not contain corn or wheat, which are common, cheap, and unhealthy grains used as fillers in many dog foods.

It cannot be bought in stores. It is delivered directly to your home. LA does this for a couple of reasons. First, the order system allows them to know exactly where each bag of food went from any batch that was made. This means that in the unlikely event that there ever is a recall, LA can individually contact every customer that received food from that batch within a few hours. No other brand can do this. Secondly, in ensures you are feeding extremely fresh food that has not been sitting on a store shelf for months. The LA food delivered to your home is typically less that 6 weeks old. That is amazingly fresh for dry dog food!

When we switched to LA food, we noticed the tear stains (a common problem with some Goldendoodles) disappear within a couple weeks. We also noticed that the excessive farting of one of our females stopped. Our dog’s hair became shinier, less shedding, and had an overall healthier appearance. From a breeder’s perspective, this food has been incredible! When starting puppies on this food they did not have diarrhea like the previous litter on a different food, and the LA poop is very mild smelling compared to that of others. The mom didn’t lose any weight while nursing her pups, and she had abundantly more milk than when not on LA.

Too many new Goldendoodle owners make a significant investment when purchasing their new puppy, but then they give no thought into what to feed them. What you feed your Goldendoodle contributes SIGNIFICANTLY to the dog’s health and well being. Feeding a high quality food not only extends the life of your puppy, but it keeps them overall healthier, thereby reducing the cost of veterinarian care. Penny pinching in the food department could cost you much more later.
