At Homegrown Goldendoodles we pride ourselves in bringing you the healthy, happy, and loved Goldendoodles.
1. All of our dogs are health & DNA tested, and our puppies are backed by a health guarantee. This ensures that we are not passing along genetic conditions to the puppies such as hip dysplacia or genetic eye and heart diseases. Our puppies are guaranteed to be healthy! They come with dewclaws removed, dewormed at correct intervals, first vaccinations, a veterinarian health exam, a certificate of health by a certified veterinarian, and a health guarantee.
2. We carefully pair our parents based on DNA (and other factors) to ensure that each litter will have curly coats and the proper doodle furnishings, aka the "doodle look". Without properly pairing parents based on DNA then it is possible to get straight haired horribly shedding puppies, even in the later generations of Goldendoodles. We take great care to make sure this never happens by DNA testing for coat type and furnishings. We pair the correct parents together to give you the best puppy!
3. We use the Misti Method of whelping. This helps to teach puppies as young as 3 weeks old that there is a separate place to sleep, to play, and go to the bathroom. This makes house breaking much easier for you! Puppies that are raised in pet stores are forced to go to the bathroom in the same place they sleep and play, instilling the habit to go to the bathroom wherever they can such as their kennel, and your floor!
4. Our puppies are started on training and socialization! They are whelped and raised in our home with children, babies, and other pets. They are handled and loved daily to ensure that they are excellent with children. They are started on basic manners such as bite inhibition, jumping, and barking. At 6 weeks old they are started on outside potty training, kennel training, and leash training. We start all the hard work, you continue it at home!
5. Our puppies are started on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) which is a gift only your breeder can offer! This helps puppies to have greater tolerance to stress, be more disease resistant, less fearful, have lower cortisol levels, and even have a stronger heart!
6. Our puppies are temperament tested to ensure the best fit for your family! We understand that each family has different wants & needs in their dog. We temperament test to help you find the puppy that will fit perfectly into your lifestyle.
7. Our dogs are 100% part of our family! They are loved and treated like family. They go places with us, they hang out in the house with us. They DO NOT spend their lives in a kennel only to be used for breeding.
8. Our puppies are microchipped! We include microchipping because we believe it is important to help end the overflowing amount of dogs in animal shelters. The microchips are embedded with our information along with the new owners, so that if they ever get surrendered to a shelter we will be notified and come pick up the dog.
